Have you ever watched "Diners Drive-in and Dives" on the Food Network? How about "the Secret Life of a Foodie"? How about any show with Anthony Bourdain?
All of these are examples of the immense numbers of wonderful food establishments nationwide (and worldwide for that matter). My problem is that they never travel to Boston. I find it hard to believe that there is no unique, creative, and amazingly delicious, small restaurants in the greater Boston area. This is my request for recommendations. What do you love? Where do you go? Do you have a favorite little neighborhood joint?
With such a melting pot in of people in Boston I want to find places with family cooking. Regional foods from parts of the world we are less exposed to. People take pride in their own culture and I am constantly looking for food from other cultures. Almost every culture has amazing food if one is open to trying new and different things. Does Boston offer high quality Haitian food? Jamaican food? Food from Crete? German food? Russian food? When Anthony Bourdain travels the world to show us all new and interesting things they spend a lot of time and money researching information and places to go. Unfortunately, we cant all be Anthony Bourdain, So I need your help.
